Mount Polley Mine meeting at 3 p.m. today in Likely

Another public meeting will be held in Likely today, Thursday, Aug. 7 to address concerns about the Mount Polley Mine tailings pond breach.

The meeting will be held in the Likely Community Hall at 3 p.m.

Representatives from the Cariboo Regional District, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, Ministry of Environment, Interior Health and Mount Polley Mine are scheduled to be there.

A public information line has been established at 250-398-5581 during Emergency Operations Centre operating hours.
