RCMP members pay their respects to retired Staff Sgt. Donald ‘Mac’ McDonald, held early May at the United Church.

Mac was the youngest of five children born to John and Elsie McDonald.

He joined the RCMP on Sept. 16, 1953 and retired from the RCMP in 1986 with almost 33 years of service, having served in numerous B.C. towns such as Nelson, Kimberly, Castlegar, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Powell River and Victoria.
