Corey Huu Le, also known as Corey Porter, was discovered deceased at the scene outside a home in the 1000 block of Eleventh Avenue North early Sunday morning at about 3:45 a.m.

Police have not released a cause of death, however residents in the area say they heard the sound of gun shots.

A 21-year-old woman, also located at the scene, was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

"If somebody knows something about Corey we are asking them to let us know," said RCMP North District media relations Corp. Dave Tyreman Tuesday. "Let's say they saw him in public the day before somewhere and noticed something that might even help us to establish a timeline."
