Suspects attempt robbery of beer and wine store

Three young males with a large knife attempted to rob a cold beer and wine store in Williams Lake Thursday evening.

On Jan. 20, around 8 p.m. three young males entered the Coast Fraser Cold Beer and Wine Store at 245 Donald Road, attempting to rob the store, RCMP said.

"One male was described as approximately six foot tall and skinny, the other two males were shorter and skinny as well. All three males had their faces concealed with bandannas, were wearing dark clothing, and fled the scene after being scared off by the staff," RCMP noted in a press release.

Anyone with information on the attempted robbery is asked to call the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-88-222-TIPS (8477).
