The Complex will be open for a Public Skate from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and during this time, skate rentals will be free. The concession will also offer free hot chocolate and hot dogs during the skate.

The pool will be open for a free Rec Swim from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., so length swimmers and fitness

3:30 p.m., the Inflatable Iceberg will be in the water for families to enjoy. During an Everyone Welcome Swim.

The City received a $3,800 grant from the provincial government to assist in covering the costs of the events.

“Family Day was designed to offer us a chance to take a break and enjoy being with our loved ones, and I encourage everyone to come to the Complex and celebrate some active, fun time together in the pool or on the ice,” says Mayor Kerry Cook.
