Government is not a thing. Government is not a building. Government is people.
When we read that the federal Liberal government bought the Trans-Mountain Pipeline for $4.5 billion, that statement is misleading at best and a bare-faced lie at worst.
That money, which has now mushroomed to more than $22 billion did not come out of the pockets of the people in government, it came our of the pockets of the Canadian tax payer.
However, Justin Trudeau is not too concerned. After all, the money did not come out of his pocket, it came out of yours and mine.
