Studio Theatre hosting two separate auditions

The Williams Lake Studio Theatre is inviting the public to audition for two upcoming productions.

The two auditions will be for Mary’s Wedding by Stephen Massicotte, about a relationship between a young farmer and a recent English immigrant to Canada set in the 1920s and for Problem Child by George F. Walker, which follows the trials and tribulations of a young couple from the wrong side of the tracks as they try to regain custody of their baby daughter.

Mary’s Wedding will be directed by Sheryl-Lynn Lewis, while Curt Sprickerhoff will direct Problem Child.

The auditions take place from Jan. 10-11 at the Kornak and Hamm’s Building at 366 Yorston Street starting at 7 p.m. each day.

The Studio Theatre will be casting for two women and two men ages 18 to 35, and one woman and one man of any age.

Inter-Denominational Christmas Music Special

There will be an Inter-Denominational Christmas Music Special coming up at the Evangelical Free Church on Sunday, Dec. 18 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be provided.

Guests are invited to bring a food bank donation to give to those in need this Christmas.
