About $6,700 was raised Tuesday evening at the annual Williams Lake Harvest Fair Auction.

The event, held at the Laughing Loon, was well attended with many residents stepping out to support the fair and take part in some fun live and silent auctions.

Everything from flowers, to garden decorations to paintings and quilts were up for auction.

Leslea Destree, one of the Harvest Fair organizers, said she is excited about the entertainment they have lined up for this year’s fair, adding she feels the fair is going to be bigger and better than ever after being forced to cancel last year due to the fires.
