The first 4-H meeting was held on Jan. 5 and there was a large amount of new members including a group of Cloverbuds.
My name is Maria Teppema. This is my sixth year in 4-H and I am the new club reporter.
Here is the information of our first club meeting.

Our projects include: 15 swine, seven steers, two heifers, one cow/calf, four market lambs, two ewe lambs, one ewe with lambs at foot, four dogs, three photography, and two poultry.
We then voted in our executives: president, Patrick Viher; vice-president Taylor Maciborsky; treasurer, Jack Teppema; secretary, Karina Sukert; club reporter, Maria Teppema; safety officer, Trevor Bigg.
Our volunteer leaders are: beef leader, Jaydeen Maciborsky; swine leaders Neil Sukert and Jennifer Teppema; dog leader, Dawn Bigg; sheep and poultry leader, Sheryl Viher; Cloverbud leader, Bobbi-Jo Best; photography and A-leader, Linda Bartsch.
I would like to thank our volunteer leaders for taking time out of their busy lives to give the 4-H members a great opportunity to start and continue with 4-H.
Some of our scheduled activities include a sledding party on Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. at the gravel pit and a public speaking date on Friday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. in the community hall.
Achievement Day is Sunday, July 24.
Regular meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:15 p.m. in the community hall.
Our club is looking forward to another successful year.
