The City of Williams Lake is looking for vendors and performers to take part in Canada Day celebrations in Boitanio Park.

Celebrations will take place July 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will honour Canada’s 150th birthday, say the city’s event organizers.

The celebrations will reflect Canada’s past, present and future.

There will be live performances, family activities, games and cupcakes under the shade of the trees in Boitanio Park.

This will be a busy weekend in Williams Lake with the Stampede Parade, Canada Day in Boitanio Park, Four Directions Festival, Rustlers Rugby Tournament, events at Thunder Mountain Raceway, Canadian Mental Health Hootenanny, and so much more.

The city invites vendors and performers to join in the fun, and for visitors and locals alike to enjoy all the community has to offer by spending the July 1 weekend in Williams Lake and taking part in the events.

Interested vendors and performers are asked to contact city recreation programmer Suzanne Cochrane or recreation coordinator Denise Skarra at 250-398-7665 for more information.
