Cute as a puppy's ear
It was pouring kids and puppy-dogs on Nov. 14 at the special bred cow/heifer sale at BC Livestock Co-op yards in Williams Lake.
With area children home from school on fall break for the week there were a great many more children than usual in attendance at the stockyards.
This small group of kids were kept happily entertained as they spent much of their day out on the front porch cuddling the seven border collie puppies that Wade and Brady McNolty were offering for-sale at the facility.
With their kennel was situated just outside the office/restaurant facility these appealing little puppies were hard not to notice and even harder to pass by without stopping to look.
Little Sam Holmes of Empire Valley made a great salesman as he called out ‘puppies for sale’ with such regularity that he probably earned a small commission (five of the seven puppies found new homes on the day).
